COLONIZATION

                           Many countries tried to colonized our country but they not succeed. Colonization is a group of people who colonized country or under the control of nation. One of them is the Spanish colonization. When we heard the word Spaniards or Spain we remember the bad things under their colonization. Many Filipinos suffered under Spaniards colonization. Many of them revolt and fight the Spaniards like our heroes. Although that we suffered under their colonization, there were good things that we learned from Spaniards. When Spaniards came they influenced us in many ways. Like our religion now, the christianity. The Spaniards  teach us to be more religious, and they spread christianity in all part of the Philippines. Spaniard also influenced us in our literature.

                          Spaniards well influenced our literature although we have our own. Even if their colonization was not good. Like the literary works of  Jose Rizal. All his novels and poems was against  to Spaniards. It contents sorrow and suffering of all the Filipinos under their colonization. The doing wrong and the corruption under their government. Spanish colonization also influenced our daily life. The way we lived, and also our tradition. As our literature it is part of our life, culture and tradition. Till until now we have and used it.

                          In every colonized country there is a good and bad effect but on the other side there is a good effect. Like the Spanish colonization, they educate Filipino and introduced  Christianity. They also improve the quality of education. In colonization the literature is  the expression of our thougths, ideas and feelings. It can be a poem, a song or a novel. It is part of our life and culture. Literature is part of our history. During the Spanish colonial period, the literature that was written was for the most part religious.Literature is a diverse and rich group of works that has evolved side by side with the country’s history. Remember literature stayed even if the times pass by.  As the time goes by literature will be more mold for new generation.
